Peacefully at the South Shore Villa on Sunday, March 10th, 2019, of Annie Mae Leard of Westmoreland in her 101st year. Loving mother of Sharon Rose, Donald (Maureen) Leard, and Margaret Gaudet. Cherished grandmother of Robert (Robin Way) Rose, Rachel (Glen) Cassell, Krista (Wayne) Halbert, Mark Leard, Kayla (Ben) Smith, Adam (Tracy) Gaudet, and Michael (Amanda Keefe) Gaudet. Dearly loved and sadly missed by 14 great grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Annie was predeceased by her loving husband Eldon Leard, her parents Daniel W. and Rachel MacDonald, sons-in-law Reginald Rose and Kevin J. Gaudet, brothers and sisters Catherine (Thomas) Peyton, Hugh (Joan) MacDonald, John (Frances) MacDonald, Margaret Newson, Alex (Letitia) MacDonald, Florence MacDonald, Henry (Rita) MacDonald, and brother-in-law Stafford Leard. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, PEI with visitation Tuesday, March 12th, 2019, from 5 pm -8 pm. Funeral service Wednesday from Dawson Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Interment later in Westmoreland Cemetery.
