Father Frank Abbass
The family of Fr. Frank Abbass, along with our extended family, wish to express our deepest gratitude for the countless messages of condolence which poured out at the time of his sudden passing. We thank all who came for the visitation, attended the Bible Vigil, and the funeral service. Thank you for the many cards, Masses, memorials, telephone calls and donations in his memory, as well as those who sent flowers. Our thanks to Fr. Patrick O’Neil and Our Lady of Fatima Parish who graciously gave over their church for the funeral service, attended by family, parishioners of St. Mary’s, members of religious communities, and people of all faiths. We are grateful to Bishop Brian Dunn and the priests of the Diocese who participated in the Funeral Mass of their brother priest. Saint Mary’s CWL and Our Lady of Fatima CWL generously provided the abundant lunch for the reception. Knights of Columbus, of which Fr. Frank was the chaplain, formed the honour guard with the members of the Catholic Women’s League of both parishes. Lastly, thanks to all who traveled great distance to be present at the wake and funeral for Fr. Abbass. Your support, respect and compassion at this time are appreciated.
