It is with heavy hearts that the families of Dr. A. John Linfield announce his sudden passing at his family residence in Cormack, NL, on Sunday, March 31st, 2019, at the age of 79th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his sons; Dana (Veronica), and John (Karen), his grandsons; Victor, Drake, and Ryker, his furry pal; Tyler, his siblings; Virginia Young, June (Bill) Wrixon, Howard (Ruth), and Derek (Helen), and brother-in-law; Stan Parsons. Also leaving to mourn a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. John was predeceased by his wife; Phyllis nee Hudson, his parents; Ada and Alex Linfield, his sister; Margarite Parsons, and brother-in-law; Frank Young. The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Saturday, April 6th, 2019 from the hours of 12: am – 1:30 pm, where also a memorial service will take place at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Roy Randell officiating, and keeping with John’s wishes cremation will take place with the Inurnment to follow at a later date. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL.
