Murray T. Clarke
We are sad to announce the death of our father, Murray Thomas Clarke, who died peacefully on April 11, 2019 at Milford Hospital, Massachusetts. He was the husband of the late Jewell A. (Murch) Clarke who died in 2018.
Murray was born in Sydney Mines, Cape Breton, Canada on October 9, 1938, to his loving parents the late Murray G. and Bessie (Daye) Clarke.
Murray retired after many years of working for Thermo Electron in Franklin, MA. He had been a resident of Mendon, MA since 2009 and previously lived in Hopkinton, MA for many years. He enjoyed making wood crafts and birdhouses and always had a joke to tell. Murray loved traveling back to Cape Breton to visit with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughters, Deborah DiPinto (Cape Breton), Donna Flanagan (Scott) Colorado, Darlene Chapdelaine (Jeff) Maine, Stacey Andrews (Wayne), Shrewsbury, MA and Step-daughter, Robin Phipps-Smith (Peter), Mendon, MA; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He will be remembered fondly by his closest life-long friends, Arthur Jackson and Travis Budge and his family in Cape Breton. Funeral services will be private.
