BARD, RUTH - Ruth E. Bard of Hartland, NB passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She was born December 23, 1923 in Wingham, Ontario and was the daughter of the late James and Margaret Cove. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph Bard, daughter, Miriam Currie, daughter-in-law Marie Bard, sister Margaret Ollson; brother Bill Cove. Ruth is survived by her children, Gary (Sylvia) Bard of Moncton, NB, Don (Wanda) Bard of Upper Brighton, NB, Wayne (Arlene) Bard of Calgary, AB, John Bard of Mount Vernon, WA; 13 grandchildren, John Currie, Jennifer (Ralph) Mauger, Jeffrey Currie, Brenda (James) Lemereaux, Diana (Scott) Burtts, Laurine Pysch, Shane Bard, Alyson (Andrew Campbell) Bard, James Bard, Neison (Melissa) Bard, Jason Bard, Chad Bard, Christina (Kenneth) Bowie; several great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Cove of Streetsville, On; brother-in-law, Donald Ollson of London, ON; special friends, Kim Campbell, Beth Ellis (Craig and Alyson), Mark Tracy; nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Monday, June 6th from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 7th at 1:00 p.m from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel in Hartland.
