Following 94 years of a life well lived and well loved, our dear Mom peacefully completed her earthly journey Thursday, February 28th, 2019 with loving family by her side. Dear mother of Marjorie Balderston (Roger), Larry (Jacqueline), John and Margaret Callaghan (Bill) and Daughter-in-law, Rita. Beloved grandmother of Sheehan, Mark, Julie, Michael, Kerri, Lori, Jennifer, Jason, Marla, Sean, Spencer and Stephanie. Great-Grandmother of fourteen and Great-Great-Grandmother of three. Sister of Doris Miller and Miriam Langille (Bryan), and sister-in-law Rita Reid. She is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. In addition, Frances was a loving care giver to the children of many friends and family. Predeceased by her parents Charles H. Reid and Eliza (Court) Reid, her loving husband Larry, sons Eddie and David, daughter-in-law Velda, sisters Loretta Richardson (Stewart), Edna MacKinnon (Ben), Opal Lombardi (Phil), Ella Chaignon (Bob), Evelyn Hurst (Noah), Mary Horne (Roland), brother Albert Reid and brothers-in-law Raye Miller and David Burke (Miriam)A Celebration of Frances’ life will be held at the Chapel of the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home, on Thursday, June 20, with a reception for family and friends to follow in the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff at Beach Grove, Sunset Wing, for the loving and compassionate care of our mother.
