Peacefully, with loved ones by her side at the Garden Home in Charlottetown on July 14, 2019, of Rita Myrtle Walsh (nee Gauthier), formerly of Morell, aged 81 years. Mother of Michelle and Michael, grandmother of Terry, Colin and Jacob and great grandmother to Danica. Also survived by brothers, Gerald and Aeneas Gauthier; and brother and sister-in-law, Kenny O’Hanley and Verna Gauthier; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Lawrence and Bella Gauthier; as well as siblings, Mary Daley, Clara Prowse, Lawrence Gauthier, Tilly Molden, Cathy O’Hanley, Sheila MacInnis, Johnny Gauthier, and Lucy Au’Coin. Resting at North Shore Funeral Home, Morell. There will be no visitation upon personal request. Funeral mass to be held Saturday, July 20, 2019, at St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, Morell, at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Rita’s memory and greatly appreciated, to the Diabetes Association. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
