The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 of Harold Grant Kennedy, Charlottetown, age 85 years. Loving husband of Gaie Orton Kennedy. Father of Grant John Kennedy; step-father of Katie (David) Puxley and Tim (Tara Jackson) Woodside. Grandfather of Simon Puxley and Bridget Woodside; brother-in-law of Gillian Hutchings (Reg, deceased). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Teresa (Carroll) Kennedy, brother Everett Kennedy, sisters Dorothy Dean and Claire Gillespie and step-daughter M.E. Woodside. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Saturday, July 27 at 9:30, then to Church of The Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 am. Private family interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visitation Friday 3-6 pm. Family flowers only please.
