TILLEY, Leah Winnifred (nee White) – Passed peacefully away in Kelowna, B.C. on Tuesday, June 14th, 2011, Leah Winnifred Tilley, aged 91 years. Leah was born in Western Bay, NL, but spent most of her life in Buchans, NL. During the past eight years, she lived in Kelowna, B.C., where her daughter Diane resided. Predeceased by her loving husband Jack, parents Tom and Frances White and sisters Rosie, Elsie and Sophie. Left with fond and loving memories are daughter Diane (Joe) Bognar, sons Calvin (Barbara) Tilley and Kendell (Georgina) Tilley; also grandchildren Kirk, Kim, Kent, Claralynn, Troy, Tracey, Tammy, Joey and Kim. Leah was blessed with 12 great-grandchildren: Nathan, Noel, Sam, Charlie, Gerard, Rochelle, Brandon, Christian, Kendal, Stephanie, Aaron and Jolissa; her surviving siblings are sisters Elvira, Ethel, Marion, Hope and brother Calvin. Cremation took place in Kelowna B. C. A service will be held at a later date in Buchans, N.L.
