STELLARTON - Anna Rose MacDonald, 73, of Claremont Avenue, Stellarton, passed away Wednesday, September 16th, 2009, at home.
Born in Stellarton, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (DeCoste) MacDonald.
Rose graduated from Stellarton High School. She worked at the Bank Of Nova Scotia, New Glasgow, for many years, from where she retired.
She is survived by her brother, Daniel (Virginia) MacDonald, Halifax; sister, Margaret Savage, Victoria, BC; sister-in-law, Sarah “Winnie” MacDonald, Stellarton; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Leo and Ranald MacDonald.
The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, from Our Lady Of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, with Father Peter MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.
