Ronald George Seymour, CD of Kamloops, BC, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 69 years of age.
He is survived by his loving wife Sandy, son Kevin of Kamloops, sister Audrey (Fred) of Carstairs, Alberta, brothers David (Brenda) of Sydney, Nova Scotia and Ed (Cynthia) of Hamilton, Ontario, and many other relatives too numerous to name.
He was predeceased by his parents Ed and Mary Seymour and son Robert.
Ron joined the Black Watch on January 21, 1959. Six years later he changed his career to the Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers (RCEME). Ron spent three and a half years in Germany and six months in Egypt with the Armed Forces. He retired from the Armed Forces on January 27, 1981. Upon moving to Kamloops in 1980 with his family, he joined CP Rail where he worked as track crew for 12 years. Ron enjoyed fishing and camping with friends and family.
