GROVES, Gary – August 5, 1955 - July 1, 2011. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gary Groves on Friday, July 1, 2011 at his home in Oakville, ON (2398 Susquehanna Court, L6H 5Y8). Gary was originally from Heart’s Desire, Newfoundland. He is survived by his loving wife Audrey, devoted daughters Susan and her husband Ray Aas and their sons Owen and Henry, Janice and her husband Vince Chininea and their daughter Ella, Laura and her husband Troy Van Dyk and their children Lily and Charlie, and Katie. He is survived by his mother Bessie Groves, sisters Sandra Warren and Tracey (Paul Mercer) and his brothers Glen (Gail), Keith (Kathy), Chris (Renee), Jamie and Trevor (Wanda); mother-in-law Madeline Clarke, brothers-in-law John (Helen), Dave (Donna), Dennis (Bernadette), sisters-in-law Betty Clarke, Irene (Patrick Whalen), Patricia (Joe LaCour), Jean (Derek Green). Predeceased by father Cyril Groves, father-in-law Bernard Clarke and brother-in-law Junior Warren. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews and friends. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Michael’s Parish in Oakville.
