Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin, on July 08th, 2011, LYDIA IRENE MALLAY, of Creston South, NL, in her 67th year. Leaving to mourn her loving husband James W., daughters Jeanette (Mike), Sudbury, ON., Christine (Mark), Sudbury, ON., and son John (Tracey), Edmonton, AB; grandsons Michael and Tyler; sister Emily Taylor (Bill), Creston South, brothers Gerald Hodder (Carrie), Edmonton, AB., Earl Hodder (Edna), Creston North, mother in law Charlotte Mallay, Marystown; and a large circle of relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Hayward and Alice Hodder, her brother Ronald and her father in law John Joseph Mallay.
Rev. Hubert F. Tucker conducted the Funeral Service at Creston North United Church, Creston North, on Monday, July 11th, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery in Creston North. In Lydia’s memory, donations may be made to the Creston North United Church Memorial Fund, Creston North.
