A musician and retired from the Royal Canadian Navy; at his home, age 78, on July 17, 2011, in Pakenham, Ontario.
Greatly loved son of the late Mona Florence (nee Gillis) and Frank "Carby" Stewart Carbonell. Devoted brother of the late Edith (nee Carbonell) and close friend of brother-in-law Robert Milburn. Sadly missed by many cousins, among them Edison Ross, George Ross, Marion Arsenault, Normand (Joanne) Carbonnell, Elsie Davis Ray, Edith Mooney, Carol Anne Gillis, Hassie Acorn, Eddy Acorn, Robert and Alta Acorn, Mary Hooper, and Kathrine Traynor; and loved by his extended family and friends.
The funeral service will be held at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario (out of town can call 1-866-990-9530), on Saturday, August 6, 2011, in the "Sacred Space" at 2 p.m. followed by the interment.
