WHALEN, Albert– Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, July 28, 2011, Albert Whalen of Caplin Cove, aged 86 years. Predeceased by wife Kathleen, his parents, four brothers and two sisters. Left with fond and loving memories his daughters: Audrey Stacey (Alf), Donna Peach (Dave) and Liz Stringer (Harry); grandchildren: Rob (Cheryl), Jason (Jill), and Stephanie (Victor); great-grandchildren: Jared, Jessica, Aaron, Logan, Kaylee, Sydney and Hyllary; sister Gertie Smith (Edgar John); brother Fred (Alma); sisters-in-law: June Whalen, Rose Whalen (Eldred), Lillian Smith and Marguerite Stringer (Sim); brothers-in-law: Otto King and Jack Sweetapple (Chris) and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Wesley United Church, Caplin Cove. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Wesley United Church, Caplin Cove with interment at United Cemetery, Caplin Cove.
