BAILEY, COLIN - Colin Bailey peacefully passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the age of 64 years. Colin was the beloved husband of Colleen (nee Gebhart) and cherished father of Devin (Jennifer) and Tara (Brian). Colin will be sadly missed by his sister Pam Dunn and family.
Colin is predeceased by his parents Kathleen Joyce and Niles Sidney. Colin retired after 25 years from the Canadian Forces where he served in the artillery as Master Bombardier. Upon his retirement Colin devoted his time at home raising Devin and Tara until they reached high school. He then returned to work as a Commissionaire until 2009. Colin was known to family and friends by many different names such as; father figure, husband, brother, Colin, Beetle, Colonel, General or Comrade. He was also an active member of many Royal Canadian Legion’s.
