Hilda passed away peacefully on Monday, August 29, 2011. Predeceased by her husband Clifford in 1999, parents Ole and Alma Viker; two brothers, Glen and Olaf; an infant sister; sisters-in-law Violet Viker, Elizabeth Emms, Mary Emms; brothers-in-law George Emms, Sydney Emms, Charlie Robertson; nephews Alvin and Wesley Emms; Hilda is survived by her daughter Gloria (Mervin) Rieder; grandchildren Bryce (Lavonne) and their children Amy, Kendra and Jenna; Carolee (Donald) Blohm and their children Erica and Lacie; son Clifton (Donna) Emms; grandchildren Wanda (Rick) and their son Cole; Clay (Kelly) and their sons Kolby and Cody; Kenton (Lisa); sisters-in-law Louella Emms and Evelyn Robertson; brother-in-law Herb Emms; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mom was a very kind, loving mom, making her family her life. She loved us all unconditionally. Thank you to all the staff at the Regina Lutheran Home for being so kind to mom during her years there. A Funeral Service will be held at Mankota Community Centre, Mankota, SK on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Mankota Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Hilda may be made to the Mankota Community Cemetery Fund, General Delivery, Mankota, SK S0H 2W0.
