Passed away peacefully at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on Aug. 28, 2011, Mr. Frederick James Richards of St. Carols, NL, in his 85th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories sons Whyman (Ruby), and Dale (Melissa); daughters Edna (Edgar), Linda (Doug), Pearl (Ralph), Sybil (Baxter), June (Jim), Beverly (Dean), and Daphne (Kevin); 27 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, in addition to many other family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth, son Derrick, daughter Joan and three grandchildren. Visitation was held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31 with Rev. Diane Smith officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
