Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Eric Briffett of Glovertown, aged 94 years and 11 months. Pre-deceased by his wife Blanche (1968), and daughter Audrey (2010). Leaving to mourn his close friend and companion Marie Harris, daughter Eliza (Terry), sons: Phil (Linda), and Derek (Darragh) son-in-law Bill Coward; grandchildren: Neil, Debbie, Amanda, Paul and Michelle, step-grandchildren: David, Brian, Shelley and Natasha, four great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. Resting at Oram's Funeral Home, Glovertown with visitation Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral to take place on Friday at 2 p.m. from Faith United Church, Glovertown with interment in the United Church Cemetery.
