Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on September 14, 2011, Raymond Lundrigan of Upper Island Cove, age 85 years. Predeceased by his wife Bertha (nee Combs). Left with fond and loving memories: son Doug (Betty) of Bay Roberts; daughters Brenda (Everett Gifford) of Paradise and Betty (Mark Rumboldt) of St. John's; grandchildren: Mark and Larry Lundrigan; Robert, Jennifer and Andrew Gifford; and Matt and Alex Rumboldt; great-grandchildren: Lawrence and Nathan Gifford and Jacob and Taryn Lundrigan; and a large circle of family and friends - especially the staff and residents of Luxury Estates, Carbonear. Resting at Hussey's Funeral Home in Upper Island Cove. Visitation Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place Sunday, September 18th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Peter's Anglican Church Upper Island Cove with internment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, Upper Island Cove. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Peter's Anglican Church, Upper Island Cove or a charity of one's choice.
