GALLANT, THERESE - 1928 - 2011 - Therese Gallant, 83, of Résidence Bellevue, formerly of Virginia Avenue, Dieppe, NB, passed away on Monday, September 19th, 2011, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB. Born in St.-Antoine, NB, she was the daughter of the late Juste and the late Eva (née: Mazerolle) Cormier. Mrs. Gallant had retired from the Dr Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital and was a member of Ste.-Thérèse parish. She is survived by three daughters: Maria Gallant and Rose-Marie (Terry) LeBlanc, both of Dieppe and Annette (Georges) LeBlanc of St.-Gregoire; three step-daughters: Gayle (Bob) Scott of Moncton, Sheila (Lawrence) Forbes of Riverview and Judy (late Al) LeBlanc of Alberta; two sons: Billy (Monette) of Dieppe and Roger (Don) of Moncton; three sisters: Elise (Cyrille) Babineau and Lorraine (late Harvey) Muise, both of Ontario and Fernande (Roger) Babineau of Richibouctou-Village; three brothers: Leonard (Lorraine) Cormier of Dieppe, Rheal (Judy) Cormier of Riverview and Normand (Norma) Cormier of Ontario; five grandchildren: Denis, Nancy, Carole, Marc and Lyne; four great grandchildren: Nadia, Gabriel, Samuel and Karissa as well as by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, William in 2007; one infant daughter, Nancy and also by two sisters: Viola and Elise.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and also on Friday from 2 pm until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Friday, September 23rd, 2011, at 4: 30 pm. Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donations to the Dr Georges-L-Dumont Hospital Foundation “Oncology” or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
