On September 30, 2011, Al Smith of Regina passed away peacefully at the age of 83 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Roxine (Don) Hibbert, Glenda (Ken) Straub and Marvin; grandchildren Brad (Calista) Straub, Kirk Eberle, Jahnel Eberle and Jhnero Knibbs; great grandchildren Isabell and Korben Straub; sister Mildred (Tom) Lowther; brother-in-law Stan (Fran) Harkness; sister-in-law Joan (Gerry) Wetaski; special friends Claire and Barry Nichol; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A GATHERING OF FRIENDS AND RELATIVES will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Regina Funeral Home - Arbor Room, Hwy #1 East in Regina. Al will be laid to rest next to his wife Rusty in Regina Memorial Gardens Cemetery following the gathering.
