RICHARD, FLORIDA “MARIE” - 1924 - 2011 - Moncton – Florida "Marie" Richard, 86, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, after a brief illness. Born in Cocagne on November 27, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Georges and Marie-Anne (Hebert) Breau. Florida will be sadly missed by her four daughters, Rachel Niles of Pensacola, FL, Doreen Judge (Mark) of Hobe Sound, FL, Joanne Miller of Shediac and MarieAnne Boucher (Mike) of Lakeville; her three sons, Frank Jr. Richard (Sarah) of Shirley, Mass, Ronald Richard (Sheryl) of Madison, Maine and Norman Richard of Moncton; her five sisters, Dina Arsenault (Alphé) of Moncton, Doris LeBlanc (late René) of Grande-Digue, Florence Caissie (late Louis) of Dieppe, Jermaine Major (Claude) of FL, Anna Cormier (late Jean) of Baltimore, MD, USA ; her three brothers Méderic Breau (late Hélene) of Springhill, FL, Désiré Breau (Thérèse) of Grande-Digue, Eloi Breau of Bouctouche; her nineteen grandchildren, Brenda, Frank III, Kenneth, Melissa, Ronald Jr, Jon, Jeanice, Amber, Carrie, Nicholas, Corey, Stephanie, Vanessa, Michael, Jennifer, Shondra, Christopher, Erika, and Emily: twenty three great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, François Richard, who passed away September 17, 2011; her brother Gerald and her sister Cécilia.
Visitations will be held at Passage, 625 Mountain Rd, Moncton on Thursday, October 13 from 7 to 9 pm and on Friday, October 14 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral service will be at the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce RC Church in Parkton on Friday, October 14 at 11 am. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Chartersville. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Friends of the Moncton Hospital and The Lung Association or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
