It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stuart Charles Morley at his home in Westmount, on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011 at the age of 53 years. Stuart was the beloved husband, best friend, and soul mate of Dianne (MacWilliam), and proud father of Stuart Robert Morley, who made his life complete and was his pride and joy, he was the devoted son of Stuart and Elizabeth (Randall) Morley. Stuie was a valued member of the Department of Justice and took great pride in his job as a Deputy Sheriff. He took Law Enforcement course at Holland College and went to work as a Supervisor of Security for Dyne Holdings Ltd. Stuie is survived by his in–laws, Robert and Evelyn MacWilliam, brothers-in-law, Gordon (Cindy), Leonard (Bev), sisters-in-law, Judy Thompson (Ross), Lisa Stewart (Jerry) as well as many nieces and nephews. Stuie will be greatly missed by all the friends and family who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a good friend to many and his sense of humour will be greatly missed. The world has lost a great man. Visitation was held Tuesday Oct. 18, 2011 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011 at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Sydney with Rev. Robert Lyle officiating. Burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an educational fund for his son, Stuart, Jr. or to a charity of your choice.
