It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of J.M. Brian ‘Gimpy’ Cameron, 22, of New Waterford on Nov. 1, 2011, as the result of a tragic motor vehicle accident.
Born in New Waterford, he was the son of John Melnick, Glace Bay, and Isheil Cameron, New Waterford.
Brian was a member of the former St. Agnes Church, currently Parish Church of St. Leonard.
He had a great sense of humour and loved spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed surfing the Internet and texting.
Surviving are brother, Robert Cameron, New Waterford/Alberta; sister, Suzanne, Ontario; along with several half-sisters and half-brothers on his father’s side; special buddy, Travis Hall, New Waterford; many other close friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly; several aunts, uncles, especially Aunt Shea and Uncle Keith; several cousins; maternal grandparents, Bobby and Sheila Cameron, New Waterford.
Brian was predeceased by his paternal grandparents.
Funeral arrangements, under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford, are incomplete at this time and will be announced at a later date.
