McCLURE, DAVID DOUGLAS - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David McClure who left us peacefully on November 4, 2011 at Sunnybrook Hospital after a long and challenging battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, RAdm (Retd) Donald and Elizabeth McClure. He will be missed dearly by his family, his wife Kathleen (McMahon); his son Daniel (Susan Witteveen); his daughters Krista (Peter Imhof) and Julie; his five grandchildren - Charlie, Grace and Hannah McClure and Pierce and Elise Imhof; his sisters - Joan Ronsyn (Ed), Barbara Stanton (Gerry), Carol Woltman (Ray) and Christina Belanger (Paul); and many nieces and nephews. David was someone who loved to spend time with his family; loved the cottage, fishing and the outdoors and enjoyed much success from his career in business. He was a man of incredible strength, courage and fortitude and a great sense of humor that remained until the end of his life journey.
A celebration of David's life was held on Monday, November 7th at the Newman Centre Catholic Parish, Toronto, Ontario.
