DAY, Edward Scott – Passed peacefully away after battling a long illness at his residence in Vancouver, on November 14th, 2011, Edward Scott Day, age 43 years. Predeceased by his father Edward Lawrence Day, grandmothers Corine Day and Magretta Powers, uncles Gary Day and Harold Stanley. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his mother Linda Day; grandfather Chesley Powers; aunts: Maxine Stanley, Judy Melend, Diane Manstan and Nicole Day; uncles: David Day, Fraser Day, John Day, Frank Manstan and Lloyd Melendy; Also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. DENNIS, Leo – Passed peacefully away at home on November 16th, 2011, Leo Dennis, aged 91 years. He is survived by his children: Bernice Ivey (Warren), Calvin Dennis (Ann), Diane Dennis, Mary Ainsbury (Troy), Ted Dennis (Bonnie), Audrey Windsor (Peter), Kathleen Mary Cochrane, Blanche Yeadon (Derek), Jean Hynes (Bernie); fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one remaining sister, Anne Ceccoli (Joe), Arizona, USA. Also leaving to mourn many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. As per his request, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be held Summer 2012 in Three Rock Cove, NL, with interment to follow at the Three Rock Cove Roman Catholic Cemetery.
