At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, November 21, 2011 of Mr. Norman Kane of Lakeside in his 75th year.
Beloved father of Kevin (Janet) and loving grandfather of Liah. He is also lovingly remembered by his sisters and brothers, Teresa Kane of Charlottetown, Fr. Joe Kane OMI of Ottawa, Joan (Gordon) Golding of Stoney Creek, Ont., Sr. Rosalia Kane CSM of Charlottetown, Gemma O' Sullivan (Terrence dec.) of Ottawa; sister-in-law, Alice Mary Kane of Regina, Sask.; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews all of whom he loved to pieces.
He was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Elva Kane; his sisters, Mary Mulcahy (Gerry), Imelda Kane-Connolly (Henry Connolly); and his brother, James Kane.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home for visiting hours on Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be held on Friday with funeral mass from St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, Green Meadows, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence O'Toole Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
