It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wallace Hiscock announces his passing at the Carmelite Seniors Home on November 29, 2011 at the age of 81. Wallace is predeceased by his wife, Florrie; parents, Leander and Ena; granddaughter, Kerri Lynn Fewer; sisters, Vi, Mary, Hilda; and brother, Bill. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are 5 daughters, Donna (Phonse) Farrell, Catherine (Joseph) Penney, Marilyn (Bob) Shallow, Jacqueline (Shensten) Ellsworth, Peggy (Donald) Paul; 3 sons, Raymond (Debbie), Shawn, and Rick (Margie); 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grand-children; sisters, Anne Connors, Pearl Howse, and Eva Batten; as well as large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation took place at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 7-9 and on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9. The funeral service was held on December 1, 2011 at 2 pm from The Salvation Army Citadel on Circular Rd., Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. The interment followed at the United Church Cemetery, Union St., Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Donations in his memory can be made to The Cancer Society Garden of Hope.
