RICHARD, DELPHIS - 1921 - 2011 - Delphis Richard, 90, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Thursday, December 8th, 2011 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center. Born in Acadieville, NB, he was the son of the late Marcel and the late Victoire (née: Williams) Richard. Mr. Richard had retired from the CN, he was a WWII veteran, member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 6, Club d’Age d‘Or de Dieppe and a committee member at Ste-Thérèse parish. He enjoyed bowling and loved to participate in various physical activities, which enabled him to maintain his high energy level. He is survived by his wife, Anita (née: LeBlanc); two daughters: Delcia Richard and Vina Richard, both of Montreal, QC; one son, Delphis Jr. (Gaëtane Robichaud) of Dieppe; three sisters: Sylvina (Ron) Arsenault of Lakeburn, Jeanne D’Arc (late Freddy) Chiasson of Dieppe and Rosa (Harvey) Samson of Ottawa; two brothers: Alex of Boutouche and Odilon (Lorraine) of Dieppe; four grandchildren: Sylvie, Julie-Anne, Tina and Natalie; eight great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters: Selanire, Rita and Evangeline and also by one brother, Raymond.
