RICHARD, YVONNE - 1921 – 2011 Yvonne Richard, 90 of Saint-Norbert, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 8th, 2011 at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital University Center, Moncton. She was married to the late Maxime Richard (1992). Born in Sainte-Marie de Kent on November 25th, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Amédée and the late Elmire (Martin) Bastarache. She worked for numerous years as a janitor at the Saint-Norbert School. She will be sadly missed by her seven children; Claudette LeBlanc (Alderice) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Yolande LeBlanc (Paul-Emile) of Bouctouche, LIta Bourgeois (Gilles) of Saint-Paul, Raoul and Armand (Francine) of Saint-Norbert, Léo and Ronald of Moncton. She also leaves to mourn her twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sons; Joseph Gerard (1958), Joseph (1966) and Fred (1968), one sister Laura and five brothers, Jos, Thaddée, Fred, Eric and Edgar.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie de Kent on Sunday, December 11, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Monday from 12 to 1:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Norbert de Kent Roman Catholic Church on Monday December 12th, 2011 at 2:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery. In Yvonne’s memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L Dumont Foundation or to the Saint-Norbert Parish.
