Graham Calvin Miller, 61, born on July 22, 1950, in Digby passed away Oct.19, 2011, in St. Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver, B.C. Graham is survived by his loving birth family: mother Edith Cromwell (nee Miller), in Greenwood; father, Philip Cromwell, Sardis, B.C.; five sisters, Mayola (Dunstan), Toronto; Charlene (Rene) Woodstock, Ont.; Myra (Carey) and Janice, both of Digby; Glynis (Perry) Greenwood; and five brothers, Steven (Frey), Calgary; Wensel (Lindsae), Toronto; Garrick, Greenwood; Morton (Kathie-Lee), Digby; and Maurice (Suzann) Sooke, B.C.; and aunts, uncles and several nieces and nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one sister at birth; stepfather, Wensel Cromwell Sr. (1991); grandpy John Miller (1977); nana Frances Lynch (1988); uncle Sydney Miller (2008). Graham left Digby in 1968 to enter nursing in Kingston, Ont., achieving his RN status. He then served a few years at Toronto Hospital for Sick Children. He moved in 1979 to Vancouver, serving briefly at Vancouver General Hospital, and then at St. Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver, where he remained until 1990. He followed his dream and entered college where he studied interior design and graduated in 1993, followed by the opening of Graham’s Design Studio in North Vancouver. He retired to Nanoose, B.C., where he lived out the remainder of his life. Cremation with no service by request and in the summertime, 2012, the family will have a ‘Happy celebration of Graham’s life’.
