Passed away peacefully on Dec. 15, 2011 at the John M. Gray Centre, St. Anthony, Ms. Alma McLean of Green Island Cove, NL, in her 92nd year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories sister-in-law Rosie McLean; nieces Margaret (Nelson) and family, Alma (Gerald) and family, Sarah (Melvin) and family, Eliza (Edmund) and family, Barbara (Harris) and family, Mona (Stanley) and family; nephew Roland (Ivy) and family; cousins Willie (Thelma) Coates, Virtue (Douglas) Parrill, George W. White, Rita Coles, Olga Chambers, Olive Samson, Gideon (Maria) White, Tamsie (Levi) Normore, Mabel Genge, Susie Genge, Rita Ivany, and Audrey Parrill. She was predeceased by her parents Sarah and Andrew McLean, sister Miriam Coles, brothers Benjamin McLean, George McLean, Charlie McLean, and Anthony McLean, nephew Randy Way, brother-in-law Roland Coles and nephew-in-law Kirby Coles. Visitation was held at the St. Thomas Anglican Church in Sandy Cove followed by the funeral service on Saturday, Dec. 17. Burial followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Green Island Cove. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
