FOLKINS, ANNIE JEMIMA - Annie Folkins, in her 104th year, of Marysview Seniors Facility, Hampton, widow of Samuel Folkins, passed away January 9, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born February 2, 1908 in Snider Mountain, NB, daughter of the late George and Annie (Dagnino) Steen. She is survived by two sons, Everett Folkins (Myrtle), of Saint John, Garfield Folkins, Lloydminister, SK; daughter-in-law, Mary Folkins, Young's Cove, NB; one brother, Murray Steen, Snider Mountain; one sister-in-law, Chrissy Steen, Hampton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, two great great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Joseph Folkins; one brother, Alex Steen, one sister, Blanche Robertson; and a special niece Pat Woodley.
Resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation on Wednesday from 7 to 9pm. The funeral will be held 10:00am, Thursday, at Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel.
