Passed peacefully away at the John M. Gray Centre in St. Anthony on Jan. 2, 2012, Mr. Bruce Barrett of Raleigh, NL, in his 92nd year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories step-sons Ian (Mildred) and Gaden (Gwen); step-grandsons Travis and Gavin (Shannon); step-granddaughters Angela (Steve), Cindy, and Bonnie; step-great-grandson Evan; step-great granddaughters Emma, Madison, Jorja, and Faith; sisters-in-law Virtue (Barton), and Madeline; brothers-in-law Gayden and Noah. He was predeceased by his wife Mary, parents Mary and Samuel Barrett, in- laws Leah, Laura, Jane, Enos, Amos, Delcie and Jerry. Visitation was held at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Raleigh from where the funeral service took place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 5 with Rev. Diane Smith and lay reader Alf Larkin officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd., St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
