It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Lillian Read on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, at the Northside General Hospital.
Lillian is survived by brothers, Vernon (Dianna) Read, Montreal, Frank (Caroline) Read, Lower Sackville, George (Annie) Reid, Little Pond, Jim Read, Sydney Mines and Ronnie (Sheila) Read, Yarmouth.
She was predeceased by her parents, Percy and Laura (Reid) Read; brothers, Calvin (Melissa) Read, Albert (Fran) Read; nephew, Robert Read and sister-in-law, ‘Teeny’ (Jim) Read.
There will be no visitation or service. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
She will be sadly missed by family and friends.
