Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on January 10, 2012, William J. Ryan, age 73 years of Freshwater, P. Bay, formerly of Great Paradise, P. Bay. He leaves to mourn his partner of 35 years, Marie O'Reilly and their children Tom and April; his daughters: Violet (William Ping), Sylvia (Rodney Lockyer), Cindy and Debbie; his sons: William, Tony and Shawn; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister Regina Colbert; special brother-in-law Michael Sampson; a large number of nieces, nephews, brother and sisters-in-law, and a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Wednesday from 2 - 8 p.m. , Thursday from 12 - 4 p.m. & 6 - 9 p.m., Friday from 9 - 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday January 13, 2012 at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
