COFFEY, Gladys – July 16, 1913 - January 12, 2012 of Cuslett , Placentia Bay. It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of our beloved mother, Gladys Coffey who died peacefully on January 12, 2012, at the age of 98, at the Lions Manor Nursing Home Placentia. Predeceased by her husband Michael Coffey, and her two sons Earl and Michael. Loving mother of Nora (Greg), Theresa (Stan), Eddie and Bill Coffey; cherished grandmother of Cheryl, Darren, Jason, Jennifer, Kelly Anne and Michael; great-grandmother of Amber, Rory, James, Brady and Sam. The family wishes to express special thanks and heartfelt appreciation to the staff and volunteers at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia for the compassionate care and devotion they gave to our mother in her final journey. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Sacred Heart Church, St. Bride’s on Saturday, January 14 & Sunday, January 15. Funeral Mass to take place at Sacred Heart Church, St. Bride's on Monday, January 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Bride’s.
