Funeral Notice
Burke: The funeral of the late Irma Burke, Victoria Mines,
was held January 5, 2012 at St. Leonard Parish under the direction of V.J. MacGillivray funeral directors. Mass was celebrated by Fr. Ray Huntley, choir was under the direction of Lorette Campbell. Readers were Winnie Odo and Lindsey Berquist, pallbearers were grandsons Cody Burke, Nicholas Burke, Daryl Beaton, Kyle Burke, Cory Burke and Frankie Daix. Offertory given by Sandra Burke and Angie Fortune. Internment was in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.

Card of Thanks
We, the family of the late Irma Burke would like to extend a sincere thank you to our extended families, neighbours and friends for their compassion, acts of kindness, mass offerings, enrollments, flowers, cards, and donations made in Mom's memory. To Fr. Ray Huntley and all who took part in the funeral mass, we thank you. To all who travelled from out of town to be with us, we thank you. Thank you to the nurses and doctors at the Outpatient Department. At the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for your care of Mom, and to Fr. MacGillivray for his prayers at her bedside. A sincere thank you to Basil MacGillvray from MacGillvray Funeral Homes for your compassion and kindness; it was very comforting. Last of all, we Irma's children, would like to thank Irma's daughters-in-law Sandra and Angie, who were truly Mom's Angels on Earth for all they did for her. We would never thank you enough.
