JACQUARD, Marguerite Eûgénie – 96, Lower Wedgeport, passed away January 21, 2012 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital, Yarmouth surrounded by her family. Born June 25, 1915 in Amirault’s Hill, Marguerite was a daughter of the late Léandé and Melanie (Doucet) Muise. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a homemaker all her life. She is survived by her sons, Vernon (Corrine), Lower Wedgeport; Albert (Cécile), Wedgeport and daughter, Zelma (Edgar) Hubbard, Lower Wedgeport; one foster child, Shirley Decourcey, New Brunswick; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor; infant daughter Esther; brothers, Julien, Wallace, Levi, Alphie; sisters Mamie Muise, Henriette Pothier, Emily Bourque, Melanie Hubbard and Odile. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. Visitation was held Monday, January 23 from 2-4 and again from 7-9 p.m. in H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Wedgeport with prayers at 8 p.m. A funeral mass was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 25 from Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, Wedgeport, Father Wieslaw Papuga and Msgr. Gerald LeBlanc officiated. Interment was held in the parish cemetery. Donations in Marguerite’s memory may be made to the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation or Saint Michael’s Cemetery Fund.
