At the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, of Clare Belle Lewis of the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, and formerly of Union, age 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Earl Lewis. Born at Woodvale, P.E.I., on Aug. 15, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Beatrice (nee Simmonds) Vincent. She is survived by one brother and two sisters: Kier (Mary) Vincent of Woodvale; Doris (late Hebert) MacNevin of St. Eleanors; Gladys (late Gordon) Plant of Halifax, N.S. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Elmer (Betty) Lewis of Union; Allan (Ruth) Lewis of St. Eleanors; and Alfred Lewis of Summerside. Lovingly remembered by her special niece, Kelly Vincent, as well as her many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Monday, Jan. 28, at 11 a.m., Rev. Andrew Mortimer officiating. Interment in the United Baptist Cemetery, Union.
