PRINCE, JOHN F. - In Edmundston Regional Hospital, January 30, 2012, at the age of 61 years and 2 months, Mr. John Prince, passed away. He was the husband of Mrs. Dolorès Aubé. Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, he was the son of the late Fernand Prince and the late Lillian Benoit. Survived by his wife, Dolorès, he also leaves a son, Bob (Lana Taylor) of Riverview, NB, a brother, Robert (Cindy) of Yarmouth, NS, two sisters, Helen (Tom Cottreau) of Charlottetown, PEI and, Madeleine Trenouth of Fredericton, NB.
The funeral service will be held in the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, in Edmundston, Saturday at 11:00 AM. The family will receive condoleances at J.B. Côté & son Funeral Home, 160 Church Street, Edmundston, from 7 to 9 PM, Friday evening, and from 9 to 11 AM, Saturday morning. Mr. Prince was a member of the Edmundston Rotary Club and was a past volunteer literacy tutor. He also volunteered with Les Danseurs du Madawaska. John was a career Scotiabanker, with his career taking him and his family to Chatham, Fredericton/Oromocto, Tracadie, and finally Edmundston, where he retired.
