“Tina and all the Martin and Donovan Families:

My heartfelt condolences go to each of you on this sad occasion. John worked very closely with my Mom for many years at Canada Post. In fact she took great delight in throwing things at him when he cracked his gum. Ha Ha. He always had a funny remark or comment every time I called the office to speak to my Mother. Later as I grew up, John was still a friend and took my official wedding pictures even though he was super busy with softball commitments that summer. I was shocked to hear about his illness and even sadder to hear that he passed away. The world is a little sadder place today. May God bless you all, and comfort you when you need it most.

“We never were too fond of working weekends, however when John was supervising , the workday passed easily. All we had to do was get him talking because he always had funny stories to tell. Also we knew on Mother's Day ,if John was on there would always without fail, be a cake for the moms who were working. I enjoyed working with him and I trust there are lots of souls waiting to welcome him.”
