At Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Thursday, February 9, 2012 of Doris Ola Strang-Mincie of O'Leary, aged 74, wife of the late Boyd Mincie.
Doris was born in O'Leary on September 9, 1937, daughter of the late Ross and Edith (MacWilliams) Strang. She is survived by brothers and sisters: Ian, O'Leary; Frances (Reggie) Wallace, Elmsdale; Eva (Ronnie) Gamble, Canoe Cove; Erroll (Marilyn) Strang, Mill River; Charlie, Toronto; sisters-in-law: Winnie Strang, Joan Strang, Charlottetown and Pat Strang, O'Leary. Doris is also survived by her dear friends Betty (Floyd) Cook and Jim (Marjorie) MacDonald.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband; brothers Herbie, Donnie, Benjamin, Vernon, George, John; and sisters Freda and Florence.
Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours Friday 1 p.m. until the time of the service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the Springfield West Baptist Church Cemetery.
