It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected but peaceful passing of David Arthur Soper, age 62, from Goobies at the Health Science Complex, St. John's on February 11, 2012. Predeceased by his wife, Edith, parents, George and Betty Soper and brother, Gerald. Left with many wonderful memories are his son, Christopher (Patricia), Timothy (Claire), David; daughters, Diana (Darrell), Shenna (Bradley) Vivian; grandchildren, Michael Bailey, Nevaeh and Nathan Vivian, Shybil Marsh; brothers, Nelson (Sandra), Bill (Emily), George (Lucy); sisters, Annie (John) Palmer, Marie (Arthur) Monsdale and Betty Warren and also a large circle of other family and friends. Rested at the Bethel Pentecostal Church, Goobies from where the funeral service officiated by Pastor David Vaters, took place on Tuesday, February 14th, 2012 with interment following.
