It is with sadness that the families of the late Sarah Amelia Oldford announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor at the age of 97 years. She is predeceased by her husband, Wesley; daughter, Annie June. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son, Roy (Beverley) Oldford of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; brother Lloyd of Grand Falls-Windsor; grandchildren, Chad (Tonya), and Barbara (Jamie); great-grandchildren, Joshua, Benjamin, Callie, and Shawn; Nephew, Leonard (Gloria) Durdle, Frank Lane, Don (Beverly) Lane; Niece, Doreen (Lou) Hounsell; Special relatives, Trina, Darren, Darryl (Jessica). The funeral service took place Friday, February 17, 2012 at 2 pm from the St. Alban’s Anglican Church, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL with Rev. Glen Small officiating. The visitation took place Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 7-9 pm and Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 2-4 and 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Pallbearers were Roy Oldford, Chad Oldford, Jamie Loveless, Leonard Durdle, Eric Howse and Ed Power. Honorary Pallbearer, Lloyd Durdle.
