RICHARDSON, VIVIAN LORETTA - It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Vivian Loretta "Diddy" Richardson, loving wife of the late James Henry Richardson on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the Oromocto Hospital. Born 1923 in New Zion, she was the daughter of the late Althea (Austin) and Clarence Corey. She will be missed by her children; Donna (Ted) Rignanesi of Calgary, Alberta, Elaine (Russell) Clark of Saint John, Judy (late Fraser) Matheson of Miramichi, Brian (Linda) and Kevin (Susan) of Minto; "Nana Diddy" was grandmother to fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Gladys (LeRoy) Bentley of Fredericton and Georgina (late Ted) Murphy of New Zion; step-sister, Willa Albright of Fredericton; one uncle Calvin (Violet) Austin of Chipman and two brothers-in-law, Lorne (Eveline) & Doug Richardson; sister-in-law, Ida Valanne of Minto; several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by son-in-law Fraser Matheson.
Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King St. Minto, NB) where the family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Thursday, March 1st, 2012 from the Christian Community Church, Minto, NB. Interment will take place in Full Gospel Cemetery, Minto, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the Full Gospel Cemetery or charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
