Passed peacefully away at Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, February 16, 2012, Margarite Martin of Cartwright. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her long-time partner, Cecil Bird and their daughter Jenna; her father David Martin Jr. and brother Jeff (Tracy) and her nephew Ethan. She also leaves a large circle of extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Cora. The family would like to say a heartfelt thank you to the nursing staff at the Labrador Health Centre for their excellent care while Margaruite was hospitalized. Also, a thank you is extended to those who visited, brought food and comfort and helped in any way during those weeks.
