It is with sadness that the families of the late Anna Hannah Skiffington announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Heath Centre at the age of 78 years. Annie is predeceased by her husband, Fred; parents, Hubert and Ethel; brothers, George, Clyde and Gord. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her two daughters, Rosanne (Ed) Snow of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Laura, (Frederick) Chaulk of Thompson, Manitoba; eight grandchildren, Renee, Dustin, Cody, Hayden, Leonard, Chris, Justin and Matthew; brothers, Lloyd (Daphne), and Lawrence (Eileen); sister, Shirley (Lloyd) Holloway; sister-in-law, Linda; as well as a number of nieces nephews, relative and friends. The visitation took place Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service took place Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 2 pm from The Salvation Army Park Street Citadel with Majors Owen and Sharon Rowsell officiating. The interment followed at the Salvation Army Caribou Road Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to The Salvation Army Park Street Memorial Fund.
