The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, of Irma Ahearn of Alberton, aged 66 years. Common-law wife of Emmett Profit of Alberton. Irma was born in Palmer Road on Sept. 12, 1945, the daughter of the late Clifford and Gertrude (Ryan) Mokler. She is survived by sons and daughter Shawn (Leanne), Peterville; Terry (Jackie), Tignish; Kelly (Harold), St. Louis; Jason (Linda), Tignish and stepchildren Carl, Moncton and Janice (Trent) Livingstone, West Cape. Loving grandmother to Clay, Jeannie, Darcy, Sarah, Gus, Tommy, Jerrico, Thomas, Anna, Matthew, Derrick, T.J., Kasey and Carrie Ann and a great-grandson Jack. Dear sister to Jimmy (Elaine) Mokler, Halifax; Jean (Tom) Smith, New York; Willard (Alice) Mokler, St. Louis; Arlene (Kevin) Bernard, Palmer Road; Stevie (Sharon) Mokler, Western Road; Bobby (Irma) Mokler, Fredericton and Lloyd (Lori) Mokler, Alberta. She was predeceased by her parents Clifford and Gertrude and a grandson Jessie Harper. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, for visitation Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral will be held Saturday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
